Marion H. (Watts) “Bing” Wright, age 88, died Tuesday, January 9, 2018, at her daughter’s home in Billerica after a lengthy illness. She was the beloved wife of the late Harry C. “Skip” Wright whom she married August 9, 1947 after graduating from Billerica Howe High School. Born in Lowell, August 3, 1929, she was the daughter of the late John and Marion (Farmer) Watts. Marion was a lifelong resident of Billerica, a loving and supportive mother to her three children and a doting grandmother; she would never forget a birthday or a special event. She especially enjoyed teaching her grandchildren how to cook. She was always there for her family whether it was lending a helping hand, advice, or anything else she could do to lessen their burden. She is survived by her daughter, Gail Metropolis of Billerica, her sons and daughters-in-law, Harry and Nancy Wright and Gary and Ellen Wright, all of Chelmsford, and her sister, Joan Wherland of Sunapee, NH. She also leaves her three loving grandchildren, Brian, Hannah and Naomi and several nieces and cousins.
