Obituary of Francis Anthony Kriff
Francis Anthony Kriff died after a strong fight against terminal cancer on May 8, 2018 at the age of 65 while surrounded by family.
Frank is survived by his wife, Maureen (Salley); his children, Patrick of Boston, and Andrew of Billerica; and his sisters, Mary Ann (Kriff) Ludy and Elizabeth (Kriff) Joyce-Armstrong, both of Worcester. He is predeceased by his parents, Francis Anthony Kriff, Sr. and Monica Kriff, both of Shrewsbury.
Frank was a devoted father and husband. He graduated from Shrewsbury High School in 1970 and the University of Massachusetts Amherst in 1974. He was a member of the Phi Sigma Kappa fraternity and is still remembered for his friendliness and good-natured humor. He was a dedicated employee of the United States Postal Service for 30 years in Cambridge before retiring in 2015. He coached Billerica Little League and Billerica Youth Basketball and was remembered fondly by his players many years after his coaching career ended. He enjoyed fishing and gardening and loved watching Boston sports with his two sons. He will be deeply missed by his friends, family, and all who knew him.
The Kriff family would like to thank the doctors, nurses and caretakers we met at each stage of his fight. They truly helped to ensure that Frank received the care that he needed and deserved.
