My name is Mark Burrowes, I am now seeing this 9/11/2021. My Condolences to his Family for their loss. George was my first friend when I came to the United States from Barbados. in 1977. We quickly became friends. The Phears welcomed me into their home. Sleep overs and trips to Martha's Vineyard, we she's the live of comic books. Did he ever had a collection, and quite valuable I'm sure. He was the kindest most patient person I knew. I have often thought of our friendship, but never connected after high school. It pains me especially on this day of loss in our Country to hear of his passing.
