Richard and Betty go way back with me Betty's brother an I had a child together over 40 years ago so we have been friends for sometime. Richard was a very funny man to be with always joking. Him an Betty would always be busy making wood products an I have a few to cherish in the years to come. May you RIP with Betty you 2cwill always be in my heart until we meet again. Richard was devoted to our class at Howe High..He certainly added to our community..He was colorful just like the songs in his slide presentation honoring him. GOD BLESS. A unique man .love to his family.

I am so sorry to hear about Dad Bemis' passing. I have very fond memories of the whole Bemis family, which I believe I was allowed to be a part of for a short period of time. I spent nights there, dinners there and I loved both Mom & Dad and you ladies. My thoughts and prayers are with you and will always keep those memories of the fun times in my heart. Love, Robin

Thank you Linda for informing us of your father's passing. We send you and the Bemis family our sincere condolences. I am glad to hear that your father had still seen our Christmas Card that we had sent to him late, after you had sent me his revised address information. Richard worked for many years in my group at the University of Lowell Research Foundation where he was respected as an excellent engineering technician. After his retirement, I regularly called him on November 28 to congratulate him to his birthday and reminded him that he his 2 days younger than I am. May he rest in peace. To the extended Bemis Family mom and I remember our talks with both Richard and Betty for their warm and friendly conversations about Indian Ranch and church and Eastern Star. The things I loved about Richard he always had a kind word and friendly and a heartfelt see you again He and Betty are happy reminiscing about all the things they need to catch up on. I was thinking of the photography, the woodworking, the painting etc. Richard (aka Willie Nelson) may he carry on in the mansion of many rooms with the peace of a job well done good and faithful servant.
