Obituary of Sal Pasciuto
Salvatore Francis Pasciuto “Sal”, age 91, of Billerica, MA passed away peacefully on March 25, 2020 in his home surrounded by his loving family. Sal was born in Somerville, Massachusetts on June 1, 1928 to the late Giacamo & Annunizatta Pasciuto.
Sal went to Somerville High School, served as a sailor in the United States Navy, then went on to earn a degree in Bakery Science at the University of Oklahoma A&M. Sal worked as a food technologist in the baking industry until retirement. He enjoyed spending time with his family and enjoying family gatherings with plenty of food, fine wine, and opera. He received many honorable awards and certifications for his expertise and contributions to the food industry.
Sal is survived by his wife Frances of Billerica and his sister Susan Urro (Pasciuto), also of Billerica. Along with his five children, Nancy Gath and her husband, Dennis, of Tewksbury, Salvatore Pasciuto, and his wife, Caroline, of Billerica, John Pasciuto and his wife, Lorraine of Dracut, Christopher Pasciuto and his wife Kelly of Amesbury, and Lisa Colella and her husband Kenneth, of Wilmington. He is also survived by his twelve grandchildren and two great grandchildren that he loved dearly.
A private funeral service will be held at Fox Hill Cemetery, Billerica, MA on Saturday, March 28, 2020 at 10:00 am.
