I worked with Dave at Saint Elizabeth Hospital .We shared an office together and we also shared our stories of our Labrador Retrievers that are co worker ( Tom & Lore Greenwood) bred .I marveled at Dave’s ability to have his dog follow him as he rode his bike . I was lucky to get our dog Riley out of the mud puddle . Dave was a great “roommate" and a great mechanic . There was nothing he couldn’t fix . My condolences to his family . .May you Rest In Peace Dave

my first and most precious memory i have of Dave is him coming to look at our puppies (for the boys of course) he was so adamant that if they got a pup it would be their responsibility, he wasn't walking their dog or training their dog. as time went on and Tom would tell me the many anecdotes about Dave and Carrie I knew he was a convert !! When she earned her badges with the boy scouts or learned to jog with a bicycle, that spoke volumes about Dave and the love within him. Carrie was one lucky lady to have had him for her daddikins. When Dave came to look again it was for him and lucy goosie became his new love. also one lucky little girl.
Dave was a wonderful guy and a great friend always there to lend a hand. we are all so sorry for your loss.

Maryann and family .
I am so sorry for your loss. I remember most of Dave from High School and the time spent with you, Diane, Sue and Lynn back in the day. The video was a great tribute to Dave and I felt to know him better from it. Dave's battle with pancreatic cancer hits home. I lost my Wife to this disease in 2016. A devastating life event. The only thing that helps heal the sadness is time and family. Warm thoughts to you and your family.

I live across the street from Dave and MaryAnns home on Cape Cod. He was such a good man that you did not have to know him long or dive too deep to know that he was, simply a good man. The kind of man that wish we had more of. He watched me go through my cancer battle and the last thing we spoke about that we knew was a truth - is that NOW is what matters.
He adored his wife and family and his heart was open and just. I will miss seeing him moving around the yard and cleaning the sailboat. Every chore was a labor of love for him here. Generous of nature and peaceful in his heart, he will be missed in a world where we could use a few more Dave’s....

Maryann and family, I am so sorry for the loss of Dave and I know he will be watching over all of you always and forever. I first met Dave when I was around 12 skating and playing hockey at the Mill Pond by where we grew up. Later we would become lifelong friends as we spent our whole teenagehood together along with the rest of our group. He always had a smile on his face and the good times we had together were countless! I have so many memories with Dave from concerts down the Cape to camping trips in New Hampshire and everything in between. He truly was a great friend and brother to me. We had a reunion of all our old friends about 7 years ago and it was an enriching experience to be remembered forever. I am so grateful to have been able to talk to Dave recently and admired how strong and brave he was under the circumstances. I know heaven will be a better place with Dave up there and I look forward to when I see him again. God Bless you and the boys always and forever.

The beautiful obituary written of David's life describes a man who was a gift to us all.
Although gone before he could enjoy all he deserved he knew he guided a strong and loving family. Being married to my dear friend Maryann and raising Daniel, ,Matthew and Cris was his greatest reward. With love, pat K
