I am very saddened to hear this news and my most heartfelt condolences go out to Alyssa's family. Alyssa and I were very close friends from the mid 90s until I relocated to Arizona in 1999. We lost touch after that and we were reconnected when she found me on Facebook over a decade later. I still remember her asking, "Do you remember me, because I have very fond memories of you?" Of course I remembered her. How could I not? We used to celebrate birthday's together since they were both in August. We used to blast her father's stereo as loud as it would go to our favorite music. We would have drinks at JDs at the Billerica mall and see live bands at pubs in Lowell. We would talk for hours about nothing and everything at the same time. She was a very important person in my life and will be missed very much.
