Obituary of Alyssa M. Joy

Alyssa Joy, beloved daughter, sister, aunt and niece left us on November 14, 2022. She is survived by her loving Father David Joy and his Wife Ellen and Mother Karen Bushey and partner Mike, Sister Kimberly Hill and Husband Phillip, and Brothers Michael Joy and his wife Desiree, Brandon Bushey and his wife Lauren and Bryan Bushey and his wife Beth and eleven nieces and nephews. Alyssa loved people and adored her two dogs Vinnie and Teeney as well as always being the Best Auntie in the world. She was quick to laugh and her laugh was very contagious. Her favorite thing was spending time up at the “Camp” in Northwood NH with Nana and Papa followed by attending as many of her nephew’s sporting events. Alyssa attended North Middlesex High School & Shawsheen Tech where she was in the culinary arts program, baking being her specialty and passion. She worked professionally as a baker at several locations. She eventually went back to school and earned a degree in Biology from Suffolk University in Boston. She went on to Project Management positions at Parexel Biopharmaceutical Services and Intrinsic Imaging LLC. 

Visiting hours will be held Sunday, November 20^th from 12:00 to 3:00 PM at Burns Funeral Home 354 Boston Road, (Rt. 3A), Billerica, followed by a celebration of life ceremony where all are welcome to attend to share some tears and laughs to carry on Alyssa’s memory.
