Joan was always fun to be around. She and Tom used to come to California on vacation to get out of the snow. It was always a good time when they were here. She liked being by the ocean- either walking on the pier or swimming in the water. She’d tell us we were sissies because we said it was too cold to swim. Joan even tried stand up paddle boarding and did pretty well at it. She said that would be her claim to fame for that trip! Rest in peace, Joan. We will miss you. Love, Kathy

Aunt Joan was not only my Aunt but my Godmother. She gave me a love of crafting and sewing which has been a life long love for me. Her kind heart and spirit was always present.
