My little Sister
You were an amazing individual. A great daughter, a fabulous Sister, a memorable Niece and cousin. But the one character of yours was your dedication to being a phenomenal mother to Nick. You would, do anything for him even if it meant denying yourself something.
Your laugh was infectious and your caring spirit has no comparison. As a matter of fact your caring attitude took on a gargantuan phenomenal when you accepted the role of care giver for our mother Mary. It brought you and Nick closer to mom. Of course there were time when her Irish stubbornness would become evident, but you treated it like an ocean wave. It came and it went. We thank you for you for taking on that task.
I wish you had been able to travel more as you did late in your life. I wish we could have done a pilgrimage to Ireland together, we would have had a great time.
In closing i guess the only thing left to say is, I will always remember you as a walking angel. In my opinion your were certainly our fathers daughter, kind, loving and dedicated to family. Of course no one is perfect, but you were pretty amazing.
The very last thing you said to me "was your next trip was to go see Mom". So go forth and join all the Fanning's, Dockery's and Broderick's that proceeded you. Let the party in heaven. When i hear thunder on earth In the future, I will equate it you and the others partying hard and laughing and reminiscing.
I will miss you and cherish you in my heart and mind until the time that I join you.
