Obituary of Eileen Fanning

Eileen Fanning, age 63, of Charlestown,  formerly of Cambridge passed away on December 28, 2023 in Boston. Eileen was born in Cambridge, October 14, 1960 the daughter, of the late Mary C. Fanning, née Dockery, and Charles J. Fanning. She graduated from Cambridge Rindge and Latin High School class of 1980. Eileen worked as a receptionist for Herb Chambers for 30 years. Eileen is survived by her loving son, Nicholas C. Hernandez of Charlestown MA, her brother, James J. Fanning of Saugus MA, her sister Catherine M. Dupont, née Fanning, of Payne Springs TX, as well as their children, grandchildren, and everyone who was blessed to know her in life. Visiting hours will be held in the John C. Burns & Sons Funeral Home, 305 Broadway, Cambridge, Saturday, January 6, from 9:00 to 11:00 AM, followed by a prayer service. Relatives and friends invited.
