It was with great sadness I read of Gerald passing. I was stationed with him in 1966 at Weisbaden Germany. He was one of the smartest guys in the communications squadron and was in charge of the secure voice section. My wife and I were invited to his and Ute's home right after we got married anbd enjoyed a Fundu, which neither of us had ever had. They were gracious host and we really enjoyed their company. We were just young kids I guess and Ute gave Pat advice on married life. Jerry and I kept in touch off and on over the years. I always remember him and how helpful he was to us younger guys. I will see him on the other side and we will keep up again..

Words can't describe the heartbreak. Gerald is an amazing man, Husband, Father, Opa, and friend too many His presence will be greatly missed by all. I Never had a good father but knowing him and his family showed me what a real father and man should be. So Deepest Condolences to his whole Family and everyone he has touched with his loving spirit..... fly high and be with the Angels because you are one even when here on Earth... Love ❤️ being sent...
