Rob Ward posted a condolence
I am deeply saddened to recently learn about the passing of Richard Sr. I knew Richard from way, way back in the Oak Hill section of Newton in the early to mid fifties where we were neighbors and childhood friends. Even then at the age of five and six, Richard could be heard in the neighborhood proudly practicing his trumpet. His dog, Cotton, would also try to yip along to the beat.
My deepest sympathies to all the loving family and dear friends of this kind and gentle individual.
